Actress Alia Bhatt, who is in the best phase of her career, recently made headlines after it was reported she will play ‘Sita' alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. On Thursday, the Raazi actress was papped at the Mumbai airport as she leaves for Brazil. Paparazzi addressed Alia as ‘Sita ji’ while clicking her photos and this has certainly not gone down well with netizens as they started to troll Bhatt.
In a video that has gone viral, Alia could be seen coming out of her car when some of the paps addressed her as Sita Ji, and hearing this she gave a cute reaction. The video of the same has gone viral on social media with netizens lashing out at the actress saying she is not a perfect fit to play Sita. Reacting to the clip, one troll said, "Do not insult or hurt anyone’s religious sentiments by calling such clown as a Sita Maa.” Another commented, “Aisi ghatiya ladaki sita ji nahi ho sakati." For the airport outing, Alia opted for a short cute top and flared denim pants. She looked super cute as she made funny faces while reacting to Paps calling her Sita. As per the latest reports, while Bhatt has been offered to play Sita, her husband Ranbir Kapoor would be seen essaying 'Ram' in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayana, which is said to be made on a big scale.
